Leon Thomas: “Anthology”
-a very nice double-LP with some of the best of Leon. it opens with “Prince Of Peace” and “The Creator Has A Masterplan”, two of my favourites. also there’s “Bag’s Groove”, “Sun Song” and “It’s My Life I’m Fighting For”. this man simply got soul and on this collection he’s accompanied by such greats as Billy Cobham, Lonnie Liston Smith, Pee Wee Ellis and many more. I guess you could call it souljazz, and souljazz at it’s best-
