I received this as a gift from Jazzman Gerald, as it is reissued in a limited edition of 1000 copies on his label. thank you!!! as always with Jazzman this is properly licensed from the bandleader Freddie Terell himself. eight tracks of funky soulful rhythms. if you see a copy anywhere buy it!!! I guess it is labeled Deep Funk for a reason. you gotta dig deeper to find stuff like this. fortunatly this time I only had to say thanks. and thanks a lot, Gerald! my favourite tune by the way (if it isn’t the whole album) is “There Ain’t Enough Time”, a very sweet soul pearl for the lovers in us, and the dancers too!-
