The Spinners: “It’s A Shame”
-quality Motown soul music. I remember looking for any chance to find this tune on vinyl (this was before internet seemed to have a copy of everything…). I ended up buying a Motown compilation second hand in some weird record shop in Brighton, UK. years gone by and I found the LP and it doesn’t only hold it’s wonderful titlesong but a few more gems that are collectables for the great backings alone. yes yes The Funk Brothers, great musicians. and of course The Spinners themselves make this a very nice piece of music.-
