-this is giving me a Wu-Tang ’93 vibe. no compromise, very soulful, sometimes jazzy, always wit a taste of boom bap and always deep. with raps by Selfish and beats by Fluent there is everything fresh (yes, I did listen to HipHop in the 80’s). sometimes the tunes stop or have second parts that just surprise halfway through the track. it’s a little bit like the beginnings of the tracks on the first Pete Rock & CL Smooth album: a little taste of this but here we go in a completely different direction. the only bad thing I can say about this is that there is no vinyl-version of this dope album!-
