- this album is giving me a early 90s HipHop feeling. great samples and smart lyrics. the young MC Fashawn (just 20 years old) and producer Exile put together a really nice LP with no flaws. and you can hear influences of some of my personal favourites as for example “Bo Jackson” chops up a sample that was used by Chubb Rock on “Yabbadabbado” or on the Slick Rick inspired “Hey Yound World”. great album effort with no weak moment. well done.

- upon hearing the first snippets of this LP I had a bit of a “the Wu is back” feeling. there are some RZA-produced tracks, guest appearances by other members of the Clan and some good old samples from Kung Fu-flicks. and those tracks are really nice. also there’s further featured artists like Busta Rhymes (on the Dr Dre production “About Me”) and Slick Rick. a very nice album that I hereby declare a must-have for any Wu-Tang fan-

- a nice soulful piece of groovy music from 1968. very nice decent horn section and a very soulful singer who happens to look like nothing like a soul singer. check the videoclips you may find on the internet. a great song (even though I find the lyrics a tiny bit creepy to some extent). will get played a lot-

-a three track 12″ by the Japanese HipHop-group Gagle, all produced by one of my favourite producers DJ Mitsu The Beats. and I wish I would understand more Japanes at that. but the chorus is universal: Doo Ya Thing. Good beats also on the Intro and Snowflake on the flip. once more HipHop proves to be a worldwide thing. well done-
