-this is a reissue of Freddie Hubbard’s first release on Blue Note as a bandleader. here he plays with Tina Brooks (tenor sax), McCoy Tyner (piano), Sam Jones (bass) and Clifford Davis (drums). this six-track lp is something I like to listen to especially in the morning when I got up and start the day. works well in the evening as well though, sitting on the balcony and just enjoying the good times-
