The Spinners: “It’s A Shame”
-one of my favourite tracks ever and it took me about close to twenty years to have the 45. I remember trying to find a copy of this (then on an album please) when all that ebay and such and such wasn’t going on because NOBODY HAD INTERNET at home. yes, I am over thirty. now, in 1997 it must have been that I found a Motown Compilation on vinyl (original from the 70s) to finally have a vinyl copy of it. just the other I saw this one for cheap so I finally completed the circle. by the way, I also learned a few years back that my man Keb Darge is quite fond of this track, as he bought it the day it came out!!! a really good track it is, indeed!-
